To everyone who nominated us, voted for us, and has ever walked through our gate with a four-legged friend: thank you. This one belongs to you.

702 Gauteng's Greatest celebrates the province's best independent businesses across 23 categories, from coffee shops and bakeries to gyms and mechanics. Nominations and votes come from the public, which is what makes this award special to us. It wasn't decided in a boardroom. It came from the people who spend their weekends with us.

For a lot of our visitors, a market day isn't complete without the dog. Taroko Farm gives us the space to make that easy: open lawns, shady garden spots and plenty of room to wander, eat, drink and settle in for the afternoon.

Whether you're grabbing a coffee, finding a spot on the Family Lawn or catching a sundowner your pet is part of the day here.

We're open every Saturday and Sunday from 9AM to 6PM at Taroko Farm, Norfolk Lane, Modderfontein. Entrance is R25, and kids under 12 get in free.
