Winter finds at the market

What's worth trying at the market this winter. Each season new vendors, familiar stalls shift their offerings, and the produce reflects what's actually growing right now. This is our winter edit, the finds we think are worth making the trip for.

From the ground

The Harvest is growing through winter and it shows. Expect butternut and pumpkin stacked in wooden crates, fresh garlic, beetroot, corn, and root vegetables that are at their best when the mornings are cold. Grown on the farm, sold at the stall. As local as it gets.

New to the market

Free range farm eggs just landed at 4FM and they're already a weekend staple. Available in 18s and 30s, pick them up on your way in or collect on your way out. The kind of thing you didn't know you needed until you have them every Sunday.

Grow your own

The nursery just added citrus trees to the collection this winter. Fisher orange and other varieties available while stock lasts. The kind of investment that pays off every season for years.
