Learn About Our Market Cats

Every year, a few more feral cats decide our market is the place to be, no invitation needed, no rent paid. We've asked them to help with office work but we frequently find them sleeping on the job. We work closely with our vet and with Edenvale Ferals to look after every cat that calls 4 Ways Farmers Market home. Some have become beloved market pets we adore. Others are just here for the vibes, and that's okay too.

4 Ways Farmers Market is Johannesburg's favourite weekend destination, open every Saturday and Sunday at Taroko Farm, Modderfontein, right next to the Modderfontein Nature Reserve. Live music, gourmet food, and signature craft cocktails every weekend

Explore over 100 market stalls and food vendors, browse fresh produce, craft goods, clothing, and artisan products. Unwind in one of our outdoor bar gardens, catch live music on the family lawn, or settle in at Castle Lawn for DJ sets and sundowners.
